A site survey may need to be carried out prior to installation to conduct a risk assessment and assess the current electrical layout of the property. The contractor will need to undertake an assessment of the existing building roof to determine suitability of the installation and recommend any structural changes, if required, as well as an assessment of the existing electrical installation with recommendations to ensure compatibility with the proposed solar PV installation.
