YSYW is a key part of the Healthy Neighbourhoods plan that supports traffic reduction and behaviour change. The designs were submitted by the public. The winning concept depicts a river running along the floor of the path with other natural elements. The mural will be used to: Brighten the space and improve the experience of active travel in the area Improve visibility for path users around corners Celebrate nature in the area and make the space more welcoming to school children and those walking and cycling.
