Walsall Council has received confirmation of funding via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to undertake this. This will consider if Walsall Leather Museum is fit for the future, and if not: what future Museum would support the wider regeneration of the Borough? where would the future Museum be best located? Capturing the momentum, both local through the Walsall Heritage Strategy (2021-2026) and regionally following the cultural successful Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022, this is an exciting opportunity to re-imagine Walsall's Museum offer, interrogating the existing model and proposing a fresh vision, ethos, and overall approach for a unique and innovative space in Walsall. Walsall seeks to unlock a progressive, inclusive museum project, leveraging its industrial heritage and progressing through to its diverse creativity today. ## CPV classification Library, archives, museums and other cultural services Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/072991a7-2e27-481c-8aad-b075597d18a6) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
