Volunteering opportunities contribute towards the Council's overall vision of working with communities to make Haringey an even better place to live. With volunteer help a 'cleaner and greener Haringey' is achieved, whilst making a positive contribution to the biodiversity of green spaces. To increase volunteering we want to offer residents the opportunity to volunteer their services to improve biodiversity and conservation in the borough's parks at the weekend, under the supervision of a third party organisation. These sessions will not only improve the physical infrastructure of the borough's parks and open spaces but will enable volunteers to learn new skills whilst keeping physically active. This requirement will run from 1 September 2024 until 31 March 2025.
