The new automatic fire detection and alarm system is to be designed and installed in line with a category L1 system. The new systems are to be interfaced with each other, with a strategy of "one alarm, all out". The contractor carrying out the works to the confidential areas of the building will need to be DV cleared as a minimum, any operatives carrying out works within the main High Commission building will need to be SC cleared as a minimum and Gent trained.
