[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender Derbyshire County Council (the Council) has a statutory duty to ensure that there are sufficient school places across the County and as part of that duty currently operates three Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts each with two schools.\\r \\r The more recently established contract was procured under the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme and covers The Bolsover School and Springwell Community School (Chesterfield) with the contract signed in 2007 and following construction the schools, which operate as academies with different trusts, opened in 2010.
