The overall aims of the service will encompass the following; • Promoting positive early relationships and perinatal mental health support. • Normalising and de-stigmatising conversations around mental health and parent-infant relationships difficulties that may occur. • Providing emotional and peer support to ensure that male parent carers who may be experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues have a peer support network to turn to. • Ensuring marginalised communities such as the black and minority ethnic community have specific support tailored to their needs. • Working closely with the Family Hub networks, taking referrals for peer support and referring on when other needs emerge."
