In August 2022 employee turnover was just below the 15% threshold. This also has had an impact in recruiting roles for the Rainbow programme due to BAU priorities along with the difficulties in recruitment. The objective of this review is to provide assurance that recruitment is being conducted fairly and effectively in line with the NS&I recruitment policy and the wider Civil Service requirements, and ultimately to determine whether recruitment activities deliver the capabilities required by NS&I. This includes a review of the recruitment cycle, covering role design, advertising, application management and candidate selection.
