The contractor will be expected to act on behalf of the two Councils as a planning consultant, working as a principal planning officer within the GCSPS Strategic Sites team. The work to be undertaken would involve leading on requests for pre-application planning advice from developers in relation to major/complex development proposals on Strategic Sites, and the handling of associated planning applications. The lead consultant must be a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
