The families were served eviction notices from the Doncaster Hotel where they were staying by the Home Office, and, if they had not been resettled, it is likely that they would have presented to the Council as Homeless. As none of the families have any furniture, we have used a local (Doncaster) not for profit organisation to provide the furniture for the families. There was not enough time to carry out a procurement exercise.
