The contract used for the purchase and maintenance has now expired and we need to find a solution for ongoing maintenance costs. These machines are a key part of the Cambridgeshire libraries strategy that has allowed us to make staff savings through automation, particularly at our smaller single staffed branches. These are key pieces of equipment and having them out of action can have serious impact on the productivity of the library service.
