In particular, the research aims to go beyond understanding that there is disproportionality in CPS charging decisions and explore why and how this disproportionality occurs. (Corpus Linguistics) For the next stage of this research, the research team will analyse how charging decisions may be impacted by various factors that have not yet been explored.
