These are to replace the current contracts in place, which expire / reach their maximum value from October - December this year. Due to the complexity of a new nuclear build and potential funding mechanisms requiring specialist external skills and experience, these advisory services are a critical enabler to the financing and technical workstreams and essential to the continued development of the SZC project. This capability will support BEIS to gain assurance of the SZC project capability, delivery and overall cost and risks to substantiate a credible basis of any further investment and provision of support mechanisms.
