This tender opportunity is strictly limited to providers within the Merseyside locality, in line with Procurement Policy Note 11/20 - Reserving Below Threshold Procurements; Reserving procurement by supplier location. Supplier location is defined as: "Where the supplier is based or established in a particular location and has substantive business operations in that location. In this context, this means having a registered office, factory or other permanent base in that location from which meaningful business operations have been conducted for at least 12 months". Bidders will be required to self-certify that they have substantive business operations within the Merseyside locality from which meaningful business operations have been conducted for at least 12 months. Any bidder which does not have substantive business operations within the Merseyside locality will fail and will take no further part in the procurement process. The contract term is for 12 months with effect from 01 July 2023 with a contract value of £408,100. Accordingly, the subject matter of the contract has been scoped to take into account the priorities of the Contracting Authority relating to economic, social and environmental well-being.
