[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender The SA will deliver 121 intensive support to SMEs, including: ï‚· Conduct an initial eligibility check to verify SMEs are eligible to receive support from the project (to include company size, location and subsidy control allowance). ï‚· Conduct a checklist diagnostic of the business premises and the operation's energy consumption to establish whether improvements could be made; ï‚· Refer suitable SMEs for an Energy Audit, a specification confirming up to 3 priority areas for the audit to focus on. ï‚· Devise a sustainability plan template and use this to deliver identify interventions SMEs could take action on, together with estimated costs and energy savings. o Example interventions would include for example: LED lighting, Insulation, No/Lowcost behavioural changes such as switching lights off. ï‚· Support SMEs throughout the energy audit process and liaise with Energy Audit providers to ensure recommendations are compatible with the operation's needs. ï‚· Support SMEs to gather quotes for interventions and develop a grant application. ï‚· Provide input into and support delivery of 1-to-many workshops for SMEs that are interested in starting a carbon reduction journey; and ï‚· Signpost to other sources of support.
