The existing carpet tiles were laid between 15-20 years ago and are at end of the life cycle. In addition, the post undertook a chemical analysis following allergic reactions from some staff members in rooms where carpet tiles were present. The chemical analysis revealed a strong presence of contaminants in the sample material.
