The programme delivers 'nature prescriptions' to people referred by their GP with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. The Dose of Nature (DoN) prescription programme is a genuine alternative to both medication and more traditional psychological interventions, and the formula combines three ingredients: chartered psychologists, trained volunteers and the healing power of nature. A Dose of Nature Prescription will provide an individual 10-week clinically led programme for people with a wide range of mental health issues.
