The aim of the Carers Respite at Home Support Service is to enable unpaid carers of individuals needing care and support to get a break from their caring role. By providing carers with the opportunity to take a break when they need it most the service will improve carer mental and physical health and wellbeing and prevent a breakdown of the caring role. The carer will be offered up to 12 hours of support over an 8 week period to meet their needs.
