Surrey has a well-established Real-Time Suicide Surveillance System which is led by Surrey Police. Surrey Police then refer the bereaved into this support service pathway. The provider is required to raise awareness of suicide bereavement support through frontline health and social care professionals, as well as provide support to the bereaved.
