The works are to include the replacement of the current life expired timber approach ramps with steel / Tarmacadam alternative(s). The works will include the upgrade of the electrical lighting and the complete redecoration of all steelwork (including the underside of the bridge (safely working over the River Trent)). The aims and objectives of this project are to completely refurbish the Jubilee (foot) Bridge which forms part or a national cycle route and is a bridleway. The life expired timber approach ramps are to be replaced and upgraded. All existing areas of the bridge are to receive a full decoration. The works are to include the upgrade of the external lighting with new LED lighting.
