The intention being to both reduce carbon footprint of the building and reduce energy costs. The property, the Guildhall, on which the solar panels are to be installed is Grade II\* listed and located in Fore Street, Chard TA20 1PP. Planning permission and listed building consent have been granted by Somerset Council under application number: 23/01509/FUL and 23/01510/LBC.
