With Standard Industry Classification (SIC) codes unable to provide an adequate definition of the sector, this is the definitive source of evidence on the size of the UK space industry and its key characteristics. The Size & Health is used to: • Establish the industry's general size and health. • Inform industry and government activity and priorities. • Add to the UKSA and DSIT's evidence base. • Input into the formulation of UK space policy. • Track progress towards policy objectives, such as those set out in the Space Innovation and Growth Strategy 2014-30.
