The AAIB relies on its 24-hour accident reporting line, and other telephony services. ### REQUIREMENT The AAIB currently use a hosted Mitel Unified Communications system that delivers telephony to the business. It features DDI's (Direct Dial Numbers) for all staff. These are presented on desktop handsets. DDI's also exist for communal area handsets and conference phones. With the changing expectations on working environments and practices, we are seeking a modern and resilient telephony provision with Unified Communications. New technology is now available which will help AAIB to deliver a modern telephony system.
