This will include the following - strip off all exiting asphalt finishing and disposal of appropriately in secure refuge skips. Then supply and lay mastic asphalt roofing to BS6925/R/988/T25 in 2 coats on a BSF underlay to the screed with a sand rubbed finish with a minimum of 15% grit added for foot traffic. Minimum horizontal thickness of 25mm and minimum vertical thickness of 13mm for the upstands/ skirting to brickwork, up to 225mm in height. Additional information: The estimated value (exclusive of VAT) is £500,000. Conditions relating to environmental and social requirements of the contracting authority may be included in this contract.
