The services are being commissioned to meet the statutory requirements of the council under the terms of the Care Act 2014, The Mental Capacity Act 2005, the Mental Health Act 2007 and the Health & Social Care Act 2012. The provider must be familiar with the principle legislation and statutory requirements relating to the provision of independent advocacy, RPR and 1.2 Representative role within the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
