The Quality Inclusion Team (QIT) sits within the SEND Early help and education service of Leicester City Council. The QIT supports children and young people to reach their potential in education by providing a point of referral to assess additional needs in meeting their educational aspirations. On a successful referral the QIT will make provisions for specialist and non-specialist equipment and monitor their usage and suitability throughout the child and young person's educational journey.
