The project will map a path towards a sustainable future for the whole site that benefits local people and visitors and includes the restoration and reopening of the mansion. The project funding means longer term options can be explored, to include a master plan and conservation management strategy for the mansion and the grounds. The project also seeks to build the capacity of partner organisations, enable local communities to participate in shaping the future of the site, and imaginatively engage audiences with the restoration story as it develops.
