It is the responsibility of the Force to provide first aid provision not only to the public but also its own staff. The provision of first aid by Northumbria Police is essential to maintain the trust and confidence of the public we serve. It is also vital that the equipment we use to provide that medical cover is of a standard and quality that assists us to give the best care we can when it is required.
