The works will include the following elements: • Locate underground services and carry out test digs to prove depth to the services where new drains will be installed over these services. • Mark out development area within the site. • Install a piped drainage system, a secondary sand slit drainage system, detention basin and connection to existing outfall chamber / stream. • Remove arisings to the easement area and shape. • Supply and spread sports sand top-dressing material. • Seeding, establishment, reinstate haul route and easement areas and seed, maintenance to handover including temporary irrigation (estimated 6 months). Suitable companies should have a proven track record of successful sportsfield drainage works, with a strong balance sheet and trading record. Companies should own and operate suitable drainage machines such as rotary trenchers and / or continuous chain trenchers, with associated backfilling hoppers.
