The aim of the Diabetic Eye Screening programme is to reduce the risk of sight loss amongst people with diabetes by the prompt identification and effective treatment, if necessary, of sight threatening diabetic retinopathy, at the appropriate stage during the disease process ### The commissioners have structured the following lot approach - Lot 1 Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes\* - Lot 2 Cambridgeshire and Peterborough - Lot 3 Hertfordshire and West Essex - Lot 4 Mid and South Essex - Lot 5 Norfolk & Waveney - Lot 6 Suffolk & North East Essex \*Please note Milton Keyes falls under the delegated authority of NHS England - East of England.
