Whilst NHS Sussex commissioners continue to work collaboratively with our NHSE regional dental team contract and commissioning colleagues, we are keen to develop and enhance the relationships with dental professionals across Sussex. On 12 June 2023, NHS Sussex will hold its first dental provider engagement event at the American Express (AMEX) community stadium in Brighton. This will offer dental professionals the opportunity to share the challenges they face in delivering dental services and how as commissioners we can identify opportunities to support the development of NHS dental services in Sussex. Delegated commissioning offers us greater opportunities to engage with dental professions to design services and pathways of care that better meet local priorities. As part of this plan, we will convene our first dental professional listening event on the 12 June 2023.
