Newport is a small Market Town rich in heritage. Victoria Park is located adjacent to the Shrewsbury and Newport canal which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest which has a Scheduled Ancient Monument. We would like the new lighting to reflect this in its design and be in keeping with the town's conservation area.
