The system must be ideally suited for the analysis of inorganic multilayer layer structures such as photovoltaic thin film devices (chalcopyrite and kesterite) and III-V multijunction or quantum dot solar cells as well as other multi-layer structures for application such as anti-corrosion and wear-resistant and biocompatible coatings. The system must be capable of elemental surface analysis, and excel in-depth profiling with high depth and mass resolution and be capable of 3D data analysis with good lateral resolution.
