Reigate & Banstead Borough Council have a total of 127 CCTV cameras covering the public space areas of Redhill, Reigate, Holmethorpe, Wood-Hatch, Merstham, Priory Park, Horley, Banstead & Tadworth areas. The main CCTV control Room is located within the Reigate Police Station, which monitors a number of public space cameras throughout the borough on a none 24hr bases. As a result of re-structuring the police operations will be relocated to the new police headquarters and the police stations at Reigate has been sold for future development. Reigate & Banstead Borough Council have made the decision to rationalizes its stock of public space CCTV cameras and to reactively monitor the CCTV covering their key.
