The Council is evolving its model for delivering highway and public realm works and services. This includes establishing a Highways and Public Realm Schemes Civil engineering contractors Framework that will run for 4 years starting in 2024. The Framework will provide the Council with increased capability and capacity to deliver an anticipated increase in funding available via number of sources such as the Levelling Up Fund (LUF).
