A Council wide road weather forecasting and ice prediction service is required to provide an adequate level of information to enable the authority to determine whether roads require treatment to prevent the formation of ice, or settling of snow, such as might impede or endanger traffic on these roads.\\r The following services are required between October 2023 and September 2024.\\r - A climate study review to be carried out in October 2023 - this will be used to inform the long term approach to supply of weather forecasting and ice prediction services.
