[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender Road Weather Monitoring Service and Monitoring Station Maintenance Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a remotely monitored Road Weather Monitoring service, to include bi-annual calibration and maintenance of the two existing weather monitoring stations which are fitted with Findlay Irvine supplied equipment. The system will be used to monitor the following: - Road depth temperature ii. Road surface temperature iii. Air temperature iv. Relative humidity - Precipitation vi. Wind speed vii. Wind direction viii. Surface state ix. Web camera images The Council is looking to appoint a Contractor to: - Provide and support a monitoring service, including the provision of GRPS communications for the two weather monitoring stations, - Carry out annual pre-winter and mid-winter calibration and maintenance at each weather station, - Carry out repairs and upgrades where required. The initial contract term will be for 60 months as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is between £100,000 and £125,000 across the 5 year contract term.
