The parapets are to be safely dismantled and transported to the Contractors off-site store/depot, where the steel works are to be removed of all existing protective paint coatings via abrasive blast cleaning, surface preparation: Grit blast to SA2 1/2 BS EN ISO 8501-1 (2007), with required surface profile to: Medium (G) BS EN 8503-1, followed by the application of all specified coatings. (See drawing no.'s 00-PPKJ-014 & 00-PPYF-011). The works will also include the removal and disposal of the existing wire mesh to 0800 Kenyon Way Junction Subway and the addition of new stainless steel wire mesh on completion of the painting works.
