The works comprises the strip out of the existing laboratories down to the existing shell and dividing the space into two accommodation zones, a wet zone comprising laboratories and a dry zone comprising office and break out areas. The wet zone comprises of a general research laboratory for 24 researchers which is connected to three tissue culture laboratories, a dark room and built in cold room. The dry zone consists of two large open plan offices for Academics (12 desks) and Post Graduate Room (24 desks) along with a breakout area. Additional information: The lowest value has been declared at £900,000 but the University does not know at this stage what the final value might be.
