Two key workstreams are required: a 'critical friend' service broadly in line with IPA Gate 3 providing key stage gate decision making support and assurance. In addition, the Department wants to build on the findings of the recent Lessons Learned review, further explore the recommendations and options for areas of improvement or transformational change across Local Directorate or the wider DfT.
