This is focused on a wide range of archaeological sites and historic buildings (including those in the care of English Heritage), which forms an ideal testbed for the development of new techniques and their transfer into routine practice in the Historic Environment sector beyond academia. The objectives of the research project are to develop methods, and undertake exemplary case studies, using high-precision radiocarbon dating by Accelerator Mass Spectrometry.
