Negotiation with charge point operators (CPOs) and stakeholder engagement will be key to the successful delivery for this project. There is a real sense of urgency to develop longer term contracts over larger geographies using the 'concessionary model' which will help maximise private sector investment and finance and ensure that CPs are delivered for all. The scope of work therefore concentrates on developing an overarching FBC that includes combinations of LA's based on negotiating the optimum contract length and aggregate geography with LA's, CPOs, finance providers and funding bodies.
