The Chevening Scholarships Programme (later referred to as the "Programme") is the UK's flagship global Scholarships programme, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations.

Chevening Scholarships provide individuals who show potential to inspire, inform, and influence positive change, with the opportunity to study at a UK university and gain a UK educational qualification.

The Marshall Scholarship Programme (later referred to as the "Programme"), and the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission (MACC), were created by the 1953 Marshall Aid Commemoration Act. The MACC is an Arms-Length Body, sponsored by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and provides oversight in accordance with a Framework Agreement.
