This structure represents the towns heritage to salt production and is a standout structure located in the park which is central to Droitwich Town. The works consist of removing the existing timber barge construction and replacing with a similar like for like timber structure. A concrete block & slab formwork exists under the timber structure, this is to remain and to be used for reinstallation. Ancillary works consist of replacing the stone surface & timber signage boards acting as the sail. Please see the procurement documents for further information. The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal [procontract.due-north.com](https://procontract.due-north.com) to conduct this procurement exercise. To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website.
