This lifetime is mainly limited by the customers who lose or damage, on average, 10,000 to 18,000 per year. The dosemeters lost or damaged account for 2-3% of the total dosemeters which is reasonable. These need to be replaced to keep stock levels up to continue to be able to run the service. Customers are charged the cost of the replacement and the person-time to calibrate and put the dosemeter back into the system. There is no loss of income to the PDS as customers pay for dosemeters lost or damaged. Each year, the UKHSA PDS issues approximately, • 470,000 whole body TLDs • 23,000 eye dosemeters • 20,000 fingertip and wrist dosemeters • 38,000 ring dosemeters ## CPV classification Radiation monitors Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/1745f8ce-4a46-4671-b098-299bd96a7349) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
