[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender Staffordshire County Council is looking to appoint an experienced Clerk of Works you will oversee all construction aspects of the Staffordshire History Centre (in Stafford Town Centre), including new build, refurbishment, restoration of a listed building and external works. In your role you will be part of a Project team and will develop close working relationships with the Client, Contract Administrator, Principal Designer, Principal Contractor, Sub-contractors, and other Stakeholders. You will be responsible for undertaking inspections on site in relation to quality, workmanship, material and design compliance, specification compliance, advise of any matters which are not in accordance with requirements and good practice, identify and raise any risks to the project and report back on any programme implications. In this role you will monitor the workmanship, quality, Health and Safety of work on site. You will attend site meetings and prepare reports highlighting any issues, variations or concerns to the Project team and Contract Administrator.
