[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender Wiltshire Council's Term Highways Maintenance Contract is for the provision of a highways maintenance service to undertake a programme of maintenance and improvements of the highways and highway assets on the highway roads network or other land including Council land in Wiltshire and associated infrastructure. \\r \\r The service will include construction, foundation and surface works, routine, reactive and safety maintenance, repairs and cleansing operations, signing and lining, repairs and maintenance to structures, drainage CCTV investigations and repairs, and street lighting maintenance repairs and replacements. It also includes the provision of parish stewards and out of hours emergency services and a winter maintenance service for the provision of drivers on standby to operate the gritter fleet.\\r \\r The contract also requires the contractor to reduce the carbon footprint of construction and maintenance activities over the life of the contract and consider resilience to changing conditions and extremes of weather.
