In order to ensure properties are maintained in a reasonable condition, and that investment is being made in a cost-effective and safe way, there is a requirement for independent and professional investigation and assessment of condition and possible future repair and maintenance costs and options. ### Purpose & General Contracting Authority Requirements The Consultant is required to investigate and appraise the buildings, and their environs, including a proportion of flats.
