The required services involve the removal of existing MDT hardware and their replacement, also installation of new ICT equipment on 31 fire appliances. CDDFRS will provide one bay at Bowburn Technical Service Centre for the removal and installation work. All hardware will be provided by CDDFRS The hardware to be removed comprises: • Motorola MW810 PCs • Motorola MW810 Screens • Redundant power and communications cabling The hardware to be installed varies depending upon the appliance's existing equipment and comprises: • Panasonic CF-33 Toughbook • Havis docking station for CF-33 connected to Airwave SAN A Radio • Lind power cable • Cradlepoint IBR 900 mobile router • 4G/GPS Antennae • Communications cabling to connect all the above including existing appliance printer • Pre and Post acceptance testing to be carried out by the contractor in conjunction with CDDFRS An application pack with all relevant information including a fleet list with vehicle make/models outlining existing equipment will be made available to interested parties.
