[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](https://tendernation.io/opportunities/for-small-businesses) ## About this tender The Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of the development and delivery of a peer mentoring scheme, with a focus on young people aged 16 - 25 years from LGBT+ communities, young people with disabilities and young people from Black, Asian, and other diverse ethnicities. To recruit and train 30 peer mentors (aged 16 - 25 years) who have lived experiences of those they are mentoring: 10 from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities; 10 from LGBT+ communities; 10 young people with disabilities. Each peer mentor would have a 12-month period in which time they would: o Receive Peer Mentoring training o Support at least 3 young people from within their peer group o Receive support to contribute to the training of the next peer mentor The contract will be for a period of up to 3 years with a break clause in years 2 and 3 subject to funding availability and supplier performance. The contract will be awarded to a single supplier. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
